One day Workshop on Foldscope

The department of Biotechnology organised a one day workshop on Foldscope .The workshop is conducted under the Foldscope project grant from the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi. The purpose of the workshop is to promote Using Foldscope as research and Educational Tools. During the one day workshop, students got an opportunity to learn about applications and concept of Foldscope .
The Foldscope is an optical microscope that can be assembled from simple components, including a sheet of paper and a lens. The students of Biotechnology observed various fungal infected samples by cotton Blue method and plants tissues samples by staining method through Foldscope.
