Extensive microscopic studies on the leaves of Lindernia r uellioides was carried out using FOLDSCOPE by the B.Pharm students of RIPANS, Aizawl for their project work. Lindernia ruellioides (Lindernaceae) locally known as Thasuih in Mizo is traditionally used in the treatment of skin diseases, wound healing, jaundice, snakebites, dysentry and rheumatoid arthritis.
