A long gone rainy season post. Credited to a fellow PI in working our lab – Mr. Vikas Jha
A college flower pot which was no more tended to and had accumulated rain water was long forgotten until the day we received foldscope entered our lives and we decided to explore our vicinity for anything and everything.
On one such occasion, Mr. Vikas was able to document a mosquito larvae while checking the flower pot soil samples, the observations turned out to be amazing! I couldn’t help but share it…A mosquito (larvae)-Deadly but beautiful.. could also visualize a rotifer and few ciliates I suppose around the larvae. Since the larvae is alive the heartbeat has beautifully captured too.
Hope you enjoy it!
