We had a microscopy workshop at CUBE lab of HBCSE Mumbai. Students from different colleges and schools attended the workshop. A group of students who are working on Drosophila (a fruit fly) wanted to take good close up picture of its eyes. They want differentiate between two species by looking at structure of eyes. We tried different methods
and finally managed to take good photos and video of Drosophila’ s eye.

Another group of students is working on Moina (water flee) also wanted to take a video of its organs. We manage to get a good video of it as well.
We used reflected light to take these photos and videos. (Instructions to turn foldscooe into reflected light microscope is here- h ttps://t.co/Le1RcqvmpV?amp=1).
