We demonstrated the Foldscope for hundreds of farmers at Krishi Mela held at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru. They were very curious and surprised to see minute pests under the Foldscope. We also demonstrated specimen separation, slide preparation, etc. The farmers were from several districts like Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Chamarajanagara, Mysuru, Chikkaballapura, Kolar, Hassan, Ramanagara, Mandya and Tumkuru participated in the demonstration.
