I found some tardigrades completely by surprise in my herb garden soil sample! It is my first tardigrade sighting of 2025!!
I scooped up some soil in a cup, added water, ran it through a strainer and put some of that liquid on a glass slide with an 8X thickness ring sticker.
These videos were captured using a Foldscope 2.0 with a 140X magnification lens and 3X zoom on my phone.
