Using a potato I smashed on the slide with the back of a pan, I secured the sample using tape and then I observed it from under three different magnifications. Here are my observations.

This is a diagram of the sample, viewed under 50x magnification. Here, the cells containing starch grains are almost bubble-like. They are widely spread apart, and no internal details are visible.

This is being viewed under 140x magnification. The cells containing starch grains can now be seen at a much larger size. Although no details are visible even now, the distance between them is still unique, especially since most samples are filled with closely packed cells.

Now, it is being viewed under 340x magnification. The cells seem much larger and closer together. Although within the cell the boundaries of the starch grains are still unclear, the sap vacuoles of some cells are visible.
I had a great time studying this sample, and I hope this post is of value to you as a fellow member of the biology community!
