50× Magnification At 50× magnification, I could see a large patch of tomato tissue covering most of the field of view. The specimen appeared reddish-orange in colour, and I noticed a dense pattern of tiny closely packed cells. At this magnification, I was mainly able to observe the overall arrangement and color of the tomato sample.

140× Magnification At 140× magnification, the individual cells became much easier to see. They appeared closely packed together and had rounded, polygon-like shapes. The cells fit together almost like pieces of a puzzle, forming a very organized pattern. I also noticed that the boundaries between the cells were more visible than before

340× Magnification At 340× magnification, only a small group of cells was visible at a time. The cells appeared much larger, and their shapes became very clear. The cells looked tightly packed together with very little empty space between them. At this magnification, the tissue resembled a honeycomb or mosaic pattern, and I could appreciate just how many cells make up a tiny piece of tomato.
