castor seed is a soft and fleshy seed.We could observe that it is white in colour from naked eye.When viewed under the foldscope we could see irregularly shaped cells surrounded with dark outer layers.
The spine of castor is green in color.They are thin and have sharp edges.When viewed under the foldscope we get a magnified image of the spine.
