Compared to terrestrial vertebrates fish lenses are generally more dense and spherical. When viewed under foldscope the tissue of the fish eye is seen clearly.
The skin of the fish is covered with scales which is the part of its integumentary system and are produced from the mesoderm layer of the dermis. When the scales were viewed under a foldscope an enlarged view of scales was seen.
