Sometimes, thinking hard about models and theoretical frameworks for cell biology – our mind can drift to go and see what’s lurking right outside the conference room. I am at Cold Spring Harbor Lab at an incredible computational and modeling meeting; and I could not stop myself to take a walk At night and explore this beautiful landscape – and it’s microscopic habitants.
And in the first 10min; at around mid-night – here is a dividing algae cell that showed up.
