This is a dead ant. The line like figure southeast of the big brown specimen is the ant’s leg. This ant was a very small one, maybe about 3 mm in length. The specimen was obtained by finding it on some tile in front of the Beckman Institute at the Caltech Institute of Technology at 6:30 pm pm May 31st.
