This is a brown fleck of dirt from the pond south of the Beckman Behavioral Biology building at Caltech in Pasadena, CA. It was obtained on May 31, 2019 at 5pm. This was taken from one of the many clusters of dirt in the pond, by taking a spoonful of the water and eyedropping it onto a foldscope slide.
