New academic year with new practical session started with the study of microbes..The first microbe to study through the foldscope was the amazing creature,Amoeba.It is an eukaryotic protozoan without definite shape. It undergoes locomotion by false feet called pseudopodia. The cell has three main parts, cell membrane, cytoplasm and nucleus. It engulf food particles by the process called phagocytosis.
