Description :
I conducted a workshop on ‘Assembly of Foldscope and Hands-on Training’ at the Department of Microbiology, Ruia College, on 23rd Jan 2019, from 1.00 to 4.00 pm. This workshop was a part of DBT Foldscope project being done my Dr. Maya Murdeshwar and myself. Fifty students of FY biological sciences attended the workshop and five senior students helped in demonstration. The students learnt how to assemble the paper microscope – Foldscope and they viewed various permanent and freshly prepared wet and dry samples through the Foldscope. Certificates were distributed to all participants and the senior students who assisted in the workshop.
