Last night I collected a few more Drosophila eggs for my trial 2. One of these eggs showed a lot of movement which was super exciting!!! But I decided to ignore this one. This is because I was dedicated to capture a timelapse from a very primitive stage of the embryo. I wanted to capture the entire thing! Butt, in the middle of the lapse with the primitive egg, I couldn’t control the excitement and went back to check on the funky egg to find that the larva was hatching!!!! I ran around calling all my friends and forgot to start the recording but I managed to capture a bit in the middle of all the excitement 😀
Have fun foldscoping!! ~Mitali
