It has always been fascinating to obesrve floral parts under foldscope. Foldscope research was integrated for the study of microsporangia and megasporangia in Angiosperms in II PU(grade 12). Students made slides with androecium and gynoecium of various flowers and observed them under the foldscope. They were thrilled to look at the anthers, pollens, ovules, parts of filaments and petals and were able to correlate their observations with the theoretical knowledge. It was a great learning experience and the students developed lot of interest and curiosity for botany.
