Science is both innovation and creativity.The purpose of science is not to analyse or describe but to make useful models.A model is useful if it allows us to get use of it.One such innovation is” Foldscope”.Thanks to Dr ManuPrakash and his team for the creation of this low cost,portable,versatile and durable tool-“The Foldscope”.
Jnana Vijnana Vidyapeetha,Bangalore inaugurated the project on “Use of foldscope as an educational tool” on 22nd July,2018 for class 9th and 10th.Mrs Lakshmi Murthy,Principal of the school gave the details of the project.Mrs Kavitha Sebastin,Principal Investigator gave an introductory talk on foldscope.All the science teachers of the school demonstrated the assembly of foldscope.
