EKYA SCHOOL ITPL This is the picture of a full bodied mosquito, with head and abdomen ,as observed under the foldscope.
The head is small and spherical in shape. It bears two large compound eyes and a pair of long, many-segmented antennae.
The abdomen is long, slender and made up of 10 segments. The abdomen is specialized for food digestion and egg development.
