Ankita Sahoo, EKYA SCHOOL ITPL Each thoracic segment bears a pair of legs. The range of length and weight are great, but mosquitoes are normally quite small and less than 16 mm long and 2.5 mg in weight. They have six legs. The thorax (torso) is connected to the head. The legs also come out of the thorax, six in all, with tiny claws at the end of each to help the mosquitoes stay attached to surfaces.
