Four days orientation program on preparation and use of Science kits for Key Resource Persons (KRPs) belonging to SC/ST dominated areas of State Government of Madhya Pradesh was organized in Division of Educational Kits(DEK), National Council of Educational Research and Training(NCERT), Sri Aurobindo Marg , New Delhi 110016 during the period 21 May 2018 to 24 May 2018. During this training workshop One day dedicated workshop on Foldscope was held on 23 May 2018 at DEK. In the foldscope workshop 24 KRPs from different districts of MP state , 10 Technical Staff of DEK and 2 Junior Project Fellow of DEK were tried out hands on activity on Foldscope. Total 36 officials from MP state and NCERT were oriented for assembling of Foldscope. The foldscope were further used for observing micro organism of the biodiversity. The biological lab experiments as per NCERT school curriculum were tried out using foldscope and compared with those of using compound microscope and dissecting microscope. 36 KRPs were very happy and exciting to have hands on experience with Foldscope.
