In order to make Foldscope as a part of school curriculum and educational kits , an attempt is made by Division of Educational kits NCERT to stretch its application through Orientation Workshop on Foldscope held on 05/10/2018
The orientation workshop organized to orient NCERT New Delhi Faculties and Regional Institute of Education (RIE) Ajmer faculties. The workshop well attended by Professor Dinesh Kumar Head , Department of Education in Science and Mathematics (DESM) NCERT and former Additional Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Professor R.K.Parashar, Coordinator Jawaharlal Nehru National Science and Mathematics Exhibition (JNNSME) and former Head DEK NCERT, Professor Ashutosh Wazalwar Head DEK, former Head DESM,former Coordinator JNNSME, Professor Sunita Farakya Coordinator Herbal Garden and Editor School Science Magazine NCERT, Dr.CV Shimray Associate Professor DESM , Dr.Pushpalata Verma Assistant Professor DESM, Dr.AK Gupta Faculty in zoology RIE Ajmer, Dr.Aruna Mohan Resource Persons Science , Dr Vishnu Agarwal Assistant Professor MNNIT Allahabad, Dr Renu Gupta Assistant professor SKUAST Jammu, Shri Vishwasrao Bajirao Patil Sr.Technical Officer DEK, In charge R&M Section and Principal Investigator, Mrs Shilpi Singh JPF and Gold medalist of Banasthali Vidhyapith , Miss Nima Bisht JRF ICGEB and Technical Staff of DEK NCERT New Delhi

Foldscope issued by DBT were distributed among the Participants and hands on training given to all the faculties. The foldscope handed for use as a research tool for study of biodiversity, air quality, water for human health. The foldscopes will be tried for transacting school curriculum alongside NCERT s Educational School Kits
