Just put some fresh snowflakes under foldscope, and watched them melt!! I will put a complete notes on how to image snowflakes. They hide a lot of beautiful intricate patterns and a whole lot of complex physics in a single object. Now I just have to wait for the next snow fall – hopefully tomorrow!!
