Delonix belongs to fabaceae and is a tree of great economic importance. Leaves of Delonix tree are bipinnately compound. Each leaf bears 10-25 pairs of pinnae and each pinna bears oppositely arranged leaflets.
Epidermal peel of a leaflet was observed under foldscope.
