Petals are leaves that are specially shaped to attract pollinators, such as bees. Petals surround the reproductive parts of flowers. Animal-pollinated plants have petals that are the most recognizable aspect of the plant. Wind-pollinated plants, such as grass, often have tiny petals or no petals at all!
