The petals of Hibiscus are brightly coloured to attract the insects for pollination. The petals are red in colour due to the presence of pigment carotenoids. It was amazing to observe the petal cells under the foldscopes .Students of class 10 were very excited to observe the petal cells and were surprised to visit the microscopic world which was beyond their imagination .
