The last day of my 5 day schedule we went to a small school which almost felt like home. S-9 Z. P. Primary School, Ghanekhunt No. 2 (Grade 4-7) 38 students here were so excited they even offered to make bhel for me. Eager to learn we started with their school prayers, meditation session, the pledge and good thoughts shared.

Excited, enthused and completely ready to go we began the शोधयात्रा ज्ञानाची, facilitated by Gharda Chemicals and hosted by सेवासाधना प्रतिष्ठान, Ketaki Village, Chiplun. They knew microbes and were ready to learn their names in English.

Bacteria: जीवाणू (एकपेशीय सूक्ष्मजीव जे स्वतंत्रपणे जगू शकतात आणि वाढू शकतात)व्हायरस
Virus: विषाणू (जीवाणूंपेक्षाही लहान असणारे आणि वाढीसाठी जिवंत पेशींची गरज असणारे घटक)
Fungi: बुरशी (उदा. यीस्ट, मोल्ड किंवा पाव/फळांवर येणारी बुरशी)
Parasites: परजीवी (दुसऱ्या सजीवांवर किंवा त्याच्या शरीरात राहून त्यातून पोषण मिळवणारे जीव, उदा. मलेरियाचे परजीवी, जंत/कृमी)
They saw the onion and potato cells in the sun light peeping from their window with the heat getting on to us, completely draining us from within. Felt proud of this cohort not oan ounce of their energy went down while they kept wiping their sweat. They raised both their hands with the emoji happy signal to say wowie we are ready for the journey.
