On Day 2 we set out to a school in a small settlement Z. P. Primary School, Songaon, Mathwadi, 32 students (Grade 5-8) The children were as enthusiastic as ever for the शोधयात्रा ज्ञानाची, facilitated by Gharda Chemicals and hosted by सेवासाधना प्रतिष्ठान, Ketaki Village, Chiplun.

The children made efforts to answer questions about fever, its causes and then came the blood analysis which uses a microscope or 'सूक्ष्मदर्शक यंत्र'. We do many ice breakers with these young lads so as to ensure they are engaged in the exploration, they drew their observations and its heartening to see their confidence in these images..

One of the girls also got going to make a leaf cross section sample and it was amazing to view the same. sampling is a part of Research Methodology in Post Graduation and this was trully an Ahaa moment for us.We had the chance to have lunch with these wonderful humans who sat there, said their prayer and then ate a small morsel of rice and daal, not enough for their age group. But their satisfaction at their mentor eating with them was an expression that I will never forget.
