Thanks team Agastya Foundation International for this wonderful opportunity to connect with the 77 grade kids English medium. The kids were more than excited to be there exploring with a paper folding microscope. WE began with some question and answers to ascertain the causes of fever, the way forward, who is their Superhero & why.

The answers helped them understand that its important to #knowurfoe before taking any medication, trust the immunity you have in your body, microbes are not villains, superbugs are real, self medication hurts and always complete the dose prescribed by the physician. Welcome to the world of AMR, where resistance is shared by microbes as one would share important messages or jokes with friends.
We went on to make slides seated right there in the classroon and the wow moments were loud and too many, the class was happy to see how a simple tool enabled them to make observations and even record them by taking pictures. We gave away 5 Foldscopes 1.0 to the school with the promise that the English medium division will teach the kannada medium students how to use the tool and share the joy of learning with them.

Thanks team #NCBS outreach for facilitating the travel to #Bengaluru.
