A 3 day Skill Development Workshop was hosted by the Rotary Club of Ichalkaranji Textile city Global Grant No. 2457701. The 3 day schedule included mindful practices to facilitate 21st century skills, leadership, not yet mindset, Lesson plan, Blooms taxonomy, HOTS and more. The cohort 47 teachers, the trainers Dr. Shilpa Jain, Director Muktangan Exploratory, Dr. Neha Bahuguna, Delhi an expert Maths Educator and teacher trainer and myself. The last day was for frugal innovations a hands on session for these primary and pre primary teachers to design their lessons using this tool.

The explorations were interesting, the questions many and the findings were the glow points of the session, it was just a wow.

Thanks to team Himalayan Volunteer Tourism Foundation Mahima Mehra who led this knowledge exchange, the team was represented by Ms. Preeti Sanghavi who added value by taking a session on mindful use of the 6 senses. How the wind chyme created by the teachers was an expression of colour, shape, numbers and so much a part of the learning design.
