Thanks NCBS Team Outreach for the Teachers training Workshop with Sagar Science Forum it was a wonderful time we spent exploring not only the safe space an educator creates but beautiful spaces around us that create our own microcosm. The sunset light setting the tune of the exploration, the birds calling and the woodpecker going tatttttat tattar in the background calls for all of us to visit this serene location.
A little flowering plant drew my attention and then we took a branch of it back to our hotel @Aradhya residency to explore further. While it seems so simple it involved me burning the mid night oil after a long day of training at SSF, with my collaborators from NCBS.
These tours were a kind recommendation from a wonderful human Shri. Balkrishna Bhatt who looked for these sites and planned in such a manner that we could navigate them after a long day. A fun loving Gen Z made us take those mandatory pictures but believe me it was worth all the effort. Thanks is due to Krithi who had loads of suggestions for us to navigate at Sagara.

Do visit Sagar in Karnataka a train that connects Bengaluru to Talguppa will help you enjoi the 7 hour journey, remember to visit these places with your own water bottle and being mindful of the fine ecological balance these spaces hold. Do walk slowly to explore the flora and fauna around, do take pictures and hear the bird songs. #KanchiKalambaBhadrakalitemple #Sagara #Karnataka #NCBS
