A bunch of munchkins from different grades but we started on a beautiful note they spoke Kannada but I heard them loud and clear. We started with the basics of the tool, the make of the Foldscope, the sample preparation and then came the observations. Fever, causes of fever, fever care we spoke and took home some notes #knowurfoe
They listened with full attention, instructions had to be repeated several times as they were not sure of how to handle the paper microscope, scared a little but excited to the brim.
Can you imagine they stood in line to wait for their turn take a small piece of the transparent tape, such a wonderful lot of students. WE observed the onion cells, the potato cells, even fibres and pollen, they just wanted to keep the exploration going but we realised it was time for lunch, we even had some one say will you come again tommorrow to teach like this.
