Our second outreach took us to Anwomaso M/A JHS in Kumasi, where we were proud to support Nathaniel Boateng's "Hit the Books" Campaign by delivering another memorable hands-on STEM experience to young learners.
For many of the students, it was their first encounter with a Foldscope. Watching curiosity turn into excitement as they explored the microscopic world reminded us why practical science education matters. Beyond introducing a scientific tool, we sought to inspire confidence, encourage questions, and show students that science is something they can experience—not just read about.
This outreach also reinforced an important lesson: meaningful change happens through collaboration. We are grateful to Nathaniel Boateng for the opportunity to contribute to this impactful initiative, to our incredible volunteers for their dedication, to the Ghana Science Association–Kumasi Chapter for its support, and to the teachers of Anwomaso M/A JHS for warmly welcoming us.
Every school we visit brings us one step closer to our vision of making hands-on science accessible to every young learner in Ghana.
