Into the foldscope the common rice weevil look like this it is the stored product pest ( Sitophylus oryzae ) female weevil lays 2-6 eggs per day nd above 300 in lifetime
Male S. oryzae produce an aggregate pheromone (4S, 5R)-5-hydroxy-4-methylheptane-3-one to which male nd female drawn….
