The workshop conducted by student of bsc 3rd yr BIO . Guided by Dr. Khedakar sir, dept of botany, shree shivaji science college, amravati,maha ,india… Prothalus is usually gametophytic stage of fern archigonia . Prothelium develope from germinating spores . It is showed heart shaped in conspicious structure with no of rhizoids growing under neath archegonia . Some of the prothalus are green in colour exhibit photosynthesis rathe colourless one are saprophytic in nature
