Foldscope was introduced to Research scholars on 9th December ,2018 at the department of Botany, Mysore University .They had the first hand experience of handling the foldscope and observed the slide they prepared.

Informal workshop for teachers about the usage of foldscope was conducted at Jnana Vijnana Vidyapeetha,Blore and teachers enjoyed watching slides containing mosquito wings,budding in Hydra,Euglena,onion peel and mosquito mouth parts.
