With the help of foldscope I have observed the anatomical characters of Rauvolfia serpentina and Acacia caesia stem and also studied the trichome morphology.

Rauvolfia serpentina (L.) Benth.
Rauvolfia serpentina commonly called as snakewood belongs to the family Apocynaceae.

Acacia caesia (L.) Willd.
Acacia caesia belongs to the family Mimosaceae and it is commonly called as Black catechu.

The anatomical characters was observed using Foldscope research tool. The Foldscope studies revealed the presence of uniseriate glandular hairs, fibres, chambered crystals, vasicentric vessels and fusiform parenchyma cells.
