These tiny flowers had a lot for me to see with my Foldscope. Who would have thought that such a tiny flower held so many secrets to explore?

First I looked at the flower petals. Even with a white flower, you can clearly see the plant cells. This image is using the 340X lens plus 5X digital zoom.

Next I looked at the stigma. I was surprised to see that there were two poking out (maybe this is an anomaly or not actually the stigma?). This image is using the 50X lens.

Next, of course, I looked at the pollen grains. I used the 140X lens and 340X lenses, the LED light module to get brightfield and darkfield, and a lightbox for lighting comparisons.

I hope this inspires some of you out there to explore even the smallest of flowers with your Foldscopes!
