The first batch of arugula in my garden is trying to go to seed (warm weather is causing some bolting!!), so I took advantage of the flower production to check out the pollen with my Foldscope 2.0. The lines on the flower petals make me think of insect wings!
The pollen grains were tiny, but plentiful! These images were taken using the 340X lens.
These images were taken using the 140X lens with a variety of lighting options.
