What started as an exploration of the pollen got into some major focusing issues as some of the pollen were really small and so the scholars struggled to visualise them. After having seen the Hibiscus pollen they thought to look out for pollen that was round and spiny. They were in for a surprise though as these pollen were barely visible at 140x and then they saw some coffee bean like structures at a higher magnification. Sharing a pic here by Nabeeha Zaidi that clearly showed the pollen which was a great sight to see by the kids.
Also, sharing a google image here for us to compare a Foldscope view of the same, this gives the kids a a fairly good idea about the size of the pollen, specially for them to report.
