I found some eggs on the back of a green bean leaf in my garden. What did I do? I brought the leaf inside and put the eggs under my Foldscope 2.0 of course!

I started with the white egg. I wasn't able to get very clear images, but I could see some detail with the50X magnification lens and darkfield and reflective lighting.

The yellow eggs were much more interesting. They looked like little basketballs with the 50X magnification lens. I played with the three types of lighting (brightfield, darkfield, and reflective) and 5X digital zoom for these images.

I didn't get much more detail with the 140X magnification lens, but I was able to observe the beautiful symmetry when viewing them from the top down. It looks like the wheel of a ship, doesn't it?
