Educational Trip to Poba Rain Forest, Jonai
An interesting workshop at LMT Public school in Chariali, Dimow led to an expedition that is described below, dont forget to identify the footprints and stay connected.
The Class XI students went on an enriching educational trip to Poba Rain Forest, Jonai, where learning beautifully blended with exploration.
The introduction of Foldscope has truly been a blessing for our school — allowing students to carry a microscope in their pockets and discover the unseen wonders of nature right in the field. Which wouldn't be possible without Anu Harshal madam.
Beyond scientific exploration, the students enjoyed a memorable time fishing, swimming, and tracing the footprints of deer, foxes, wild elephants and tortoises — a vivid reminder of how rich and diverse our rainforest ecosystem truly is.
The trip not only deepened their understanding of biodiversity but also helped them return refreshed and re-energized, ready to begin their classes with renewed enthusiasm and curiosity.
