🔬 Training Teachers, Transforming Education in Northeast India!

We successfully conducted a major Training & Awareness program on the use of #Foldscope the ultra-low-cost paper microscope at Kherajkhat College, North Lakhimpur.
The session engaged 40 school teachers representing government and private schools from Lakhimpur and nearby regions, including Deotola, Narayanpur, Chapakhowa, Rangati. The session was also attended by students from Khearjkhat college who made interesting observations and asked questions, making the engagement a meaningful one.
Organized by Kherajkhat College and facilitated by the office of the Inspector of schools, Lakhimpur District, it saw the comming together of various departments to raise awareness about antimicrobial resistance. Would like to thank the team led by Principal Dr.Mridul Buragohain, highlighting the vital role of educators in promoting scientific learning in #Assam ese Thanks to the teacher co-ordinator Mr. Pranjit Bhuyan
As part of the initiative, Foldscopes were distributed free of cost to all participating schools! The program was well received with teachers asking questions in Assamese and generated positive feedback, with teachers enthused to, go back and successfully train their own students.
