Indo-US DBT Foldscope project was sanctioned to Barkatullah University, Bhopal where research work on Narmada River was carried out along with several workshops were conducted for school, college, university students of Madhya Pradesh and Northeast India. Also, various online sessions were conducted for Indian colleges and universities. The Principal Investigator of the project is Prof. Anil Prakash along with Co-Principal Investigator Prof. Vipin Vyas and Research Fellow Dr. Parul Gurjar

Workshop at Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH) Bhopal in which many schools of Bhopal participated and learnt about Foldscope on 29/09/2018 where students and teachers of more than 12 schools participated.
The students were very much fascinated about the instrument and very curious about using it.
