Indo-US DBT Foldscope project was sanctioned to Barkatullah University, Bhopal where research work on Narmada River was carried out along with several workshops were conducted for school, college, university students of Madhya Pradesh and Northeast India. Also, various online sessions were conducted for Indian colleges and universities. The Principal Investigator of the project is Prof. Anil Prakash along with Co-Principal Investigator Prof. Vipin Vyas and Research Fellow Dr. Parul Gurjar

Indo-US Foldscope project is an attempt to bring the science to every corner of the country. In this regard, Barkatullah University, Bhopal has been given the project for conducting research work and workshops for introducing Foldscope to the students of schools, colleges, universities, NGO etc. During the project, several workshops have been held and some of them were published by the newspaper agencies which brought this invention to the view of the common man.
