This is a container of sourdough yeast, prepared to make bread. The mixture was made 3 days ago, and the sample was taken on May 30th at 5pm. I scooped a small portion of the yeast onto the slider to look at it under foldscope.
This is the foldscope image of the yeast. It looks like there is a live culture there. #caltechbi1
