The first image in this post depicts part of the anther of a small yellow flower found in the parking lot of Caltech’s Athenaeum. The flower was picked around 3am on Friday, May 31st. A clean cover slip was placed over the sample on the slide and the slide was put into the Foldscope. A phone flashlight served as our external light source. #caltechbi1
