A workshop to introduce Foldscope was conducted by the Foldscope team of D. G. Ruparel College on 16th July 2019 in New L.J. High School, Mumbai. 49 students enthusiastically participated in the same. They prepared slides of stomata, onion peel, fungus and pollen and observed them through Foldscope. The students were very eager to use Foldscope and compared the images seen through Foldscope with those printed in their textbook. Their curiosity found a new dimension with this instrument. Many thanks to DBT, Government of India for this opportunity.
