In this post, I will be expanding upon the potato peel and flesh samples that I covered in my previous post.
The observations I made under 140X magnification of the potato peel barely differed from my 50X observations, however the compact cells became clearer. These are my pictures.

The cellular structure is much clearer and more visible and the dark pigmentation is stark.
Next, the potato flesh sample. This sample under 140X magnification was drastically different from the quality of my observations under 50X magnification.

The parenchyma cells store the starch granules which are observed to be curved and semi-transparent. We can clearly see the shape and structure in this image.
In my next post, I will be covering these samples under 340X magnification.
