A workshop for tenth standard students of S.R.T Vidya Mandir High School, Virar, Palghar District, was conducted on 8th September 2018 by the Foldscope Team from D.G. Ruparel College, Mumbai. A total of 100 participants from both English and Hindi medium attended the workshop with great enthusiasm. They were greatly thrilled to see the slides of plant cells, fungi, amoeba, paramecium, mitosis etc. through Foldscope. They were excited to find these images identical to those printed in their textbooks. The students and teachers opined that this tool has really helped in understanding and appreciating basic science. We were equally thrilled to be a part of this awesome journey.
